Trip to York!

Hello lovely people of the japanese society!

We thought it was time for a venture out of the city and have decided to go to York for the day on Sunday 30th January! Those who dont know york…there is lots of things to do from shopping to sight-seeing to tea drinking. That’s right York has it all!

Facebook Event

The plan is to meet at Leeds Train Station between 9:00am-9:30am.
…People can buy tickets for the train online at National Rail Enquiries beforehand OR buy on the day before we leave.
Please be aware that you will need to have bought your ticket by 9.30am AT THE LATEST!!! so leave yourself plenty of time to get there!
Those living around Burley Park station can also catch the train from there if they wish (you can buy tickets on the train)

The day will generally be your own to wander around. However if we get enough people interested we can organise group events to York Dungeons.

Other things to do in york include…….

York Minster
National Rail Museum
Betty’s Tea Room
York Shambles (old style street)
Jorvik Viking Museum

Plus pubs/shops/York Castle……check the internet to see what comes up!♥

Come the night time for those brave enough to stick around….we will be having dinner at one of the famous haunted pubs in york!! Still a toss up between the The Golden Fleece down The Shambles, or The Black Swan. Any one with a preferance speak up!

Following this we will try and organise a Ghost Walk from 7.00pm/8.00pm…or maybe even later…mwah hahaha!

People are free to join us and leave as they like….the day is up to you. Contact numbers will be given nearer the time.
Hope you can all make it!!
Dont forget I.D if you do come AND student railcards for cheap travel!!
