Japan Society UK is looking for around 100 volunteers to take part in the Mayor’s Thames Festival Night Carnival on 11th September. What they’re mainly asking for is people to take part in the lantern parade and also help out in their latern workshops during the day as well as donations of 1.5 litre – 2 litre plastic bottles to help make the lanterns themselves.

That’s right everyone! It’s that magical time of the year and time for the Leeds Japanese Society Christmas Party!
We’ll have live music, DJ’s, tinsel, candy canes ♥ and a raffle with prizes!!
All in true Christmas spirit, lots of fun assured! 😀
The party will be held at Pulse in the Leeds University Union from 8pm til 1am. If you’re unsure how to get there, there will be a member of the committee at Parkinson Steps from 7:45pm.
Tickets are just £2 for members and £3 for non members. We’ll be selling them everyday from 12 to 2pm in the Parkinson Building, starting tomorrow.
Dress code is casual, but Santa hats are strongly encouraged! 😀
